It was getting near to my daughter Lola’s confirmation and i wanted to have some photographs taken to mark the occasion. As the mother of three boys and one girl i decided to have a mother and daughter portrait done as a bit of a girly treat.
I had seen some of Keith s work previously and as he had also been recommended by a friend i knew there was only one man for the job. I made an appointment to meet with Keith and we discussed my ideas and he suggested some ideas too.
The day of the shoot my daughter was a bit nervous and self conscious but Keith made her feel totally at ease and we both enjoyed the experience thoroughly. When it came time to view the photographs my only problem was choosing which picture to get enlarged as Keith had taken the shot i had wanted but had also captured a lovely moment between myself and Lola.
Keith was friendly and professional throughout the whole experience and having been to other photographers in the past. Keith will be the one i will be returning to in the future to capture the precious moments in my other children’s life’s.

Getting your photograph taken when you have kids can be a bit of a nasty experience as anybody with kids will tell you. That is why when i was nearing nine months pregnant and equipped with a 2 year old Son and boyfriend you can appreciate I was nervous to say the least. I would like to say that my Son behaved impeccably but he was a total nightmare as most 2 year olds can be in this environment. This was not the nightmare that you might imagine because when I set up the appointment for the shoot I was really surprised by the enthusiasm and interest shown by Keith and the experience from start of finish was in fact a breath of fresh air. We set up on Keith’s insistence a prior appointment with just Keith and I and here Keith took me through a number of photo’s based on our telephone conversation and idea’s he thought I would like, we then set up a second appointment to go through clothes etc, this attention to detail and forward planning on Keith’s part ensured we walked away with fabulous shots of myself and my Partner but more importantly we got a fantastic Family shot including a very uncooperative little boy who was not antagonized by us faffing around deciding what we wanted . This was a very enjoyable experience made possible by Keith in his gorgeous studio.
